It's been a little over a month since over 4000 convenience stores in Ontario have been able to start selling a selection of Beer, Wine and Ready to Drink (RTD) beverages and operators have been moving quickly to get into the game.
As the biggest change to alcohol retailing in Ontario since Prohibition, there were bound to be some issues in getting this new category set up and ready to sell at c-stores and retail audits conducted by Field Agent recently have found quite a few retailers who have a license but have not been able to launch their alcohol sales due to supply issues, space constraints and getting coolers set up.
Over the past week, we sent our Field Agents to 30 c-stores across Ontario to see how these new categories are shaping up and created a photo report so you can see the progress that is being made.
If you need visibility on what is happening in terms of product listings, space allocation, pricing and / or promotions for Beer / Wine / RTD at Ontario convenience - you need Field Agent!
Audits start at just $14 per store and we cover over 90% of Ontario retail - let us know how we can help!
