It's the most wonderful time of the year... when the quick serve restaurants bring out their Holiday Cups! Every year we see the major QSR coffee chains launch a range of specialty take-away cups for their hot beverages in mid-November.
This year we have seen cups with the Grinch (Mcdonalds), tobogganing Timbits (Tim Hortons) to cups that could compete as traditional holiday wrapping paper (Starbucks and Second Cup).

We asked 923 Canadians who are part of the Field Agent research panel to tell us their favourite holiday cup designs for disposable take-away cups across four major coffee purveyors. We showed them photos of each concept and had them rank the cups from most favourite to least favourite.
The results are in and this year’s most preferred holiday coffee cup design for disposable take-away cups is the Grinchy cup from Mcdonalds, shown below, which was the #1 concept of 38% of the respondents in the survey.
