In October 2024, 88 Supermarket launched its inaugural store in Richmond. Originally established in Vancouver in 2006, 88 Supermarket is celebrated for its distinctive array of offerings.
It distinguishes itself from Richmond's other grocery giants like T&T and Rice World by gravitating towards Southeast Asian goods, featuring a wide selection of Vietnamese and Filipino ingredients. The aisles are stocked with an impressive assortment of Asian condiments, sauces, snacks, instant noodles, fresh produce, meat, and even a live seafood section.
We just had to see it, so we sent three agents to give us a virtual tour. We also asked them to give us their view as a local on this new location and what they really liked (or disliked). Our tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore. See all the photos below!
