    In the crowded retail environment it is so difficult to get shoppers attention and we are always on the look out for neat tactics in merchandising that break through.

    One example of break through displays for children is the floorstand for Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield’s children’s book “The Darkest Dark” which includes a kid in an astronaut suit an a hole cut out for kids to have their picture taken.

    Children were flocking to the display and getting their photos taken by parents who in turn spent time looking at the display and book.

    If you have a kid focused product this might be a tactic for you to try!
