    Food and wine go together like cookies and milk. With Canada’s heavily regulated liquor retail business, pairing wine and food at retail has been quite difficult.

    Now that the business is liberalizing with wine and beer making its way into grocery stores we may see more promotions like the one shown here which was spotted at a Newfoundland Liquor Store.

    The pairing of Brookside Chocolate with Sawmill Creek wines is a great example of how a CPG can break through into this channel and gain exposure through this unique sampling approach.
